Edna Earnhardt Bentley passed away at Laurel of Salisbury, on February 19, 2024, at the age of 95.
She was born on August 21, 1928, in Rowan County to the late Charles E Earnhardt and Ila Mae Thompson.
Edna attended Granite Quarry High School. She worked as a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Edgar Lee Bentley; her two brothers Edward and Robert Earnhardt; and her sister Mable Bentley.
Left to cherish her memory is her two brothers Grady Earnhardt (Pete) and his wife Loretta, and Frank Earnhardt (Sue); as well as her numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation at 1:00-2:00 pm on Friday March 1, 2024, at Haven Lutheran Church, 207 W Harrison St, Salisbury, NC 28144. A service will follow. A burial will be at a later date at the Old Historic National Cemetery.
