Edward Jackson Harrison

Edward Jackson Harrison passed away on September 27, 2024, at the age of 90.

He was born on July 24, 1934, in Rowan County to Josephine Lagle and J.B. Harrison.

Edward was a US Air Force Veteran. He was a retired member of the Air Police/Special Investigations. He also retired from working as a Postal Carrier. Edward was a member of the Masons. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter Caroline Harrison.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Elizabeth “Betty” Harrison; his daughter Julia Church (Greg); his grandson Derek Church (Jennifer); his special brother-in-law Alan Edmonds; and his 2 great-grandchildren Paxton Church and Levi Church.

A service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday October 9, 2024, at the Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144 with military honors conducted by the Lyerly Volunteer Joint Services Honor Guard..
