Ellen (Beaver) Mills

Ellen B. Mills passed away on November 10, 2025, at the Hospice of Davidson County, at the age of 96.

She was born on June 6, 1929, in Rowan County to the late Robert Lynn Beaver and Jessie Beaulah Williams Beaver.

Ellen loved quilting, painting, as well as playing multiple musical instruments.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Harold Franklin Mills; son Thomas Franklin Mills; and daughter Ellen Mills.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister Joyce Brown of Salisbury; sons David Mills of Advance and Curtis Mills of Lexington; daughter Caroline Greene of Spencer; grandchildren Meridith Patterson, William Mills, Thomas Porter Baker, and Conan Mills; and one great grandchild Yorke Patterson.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30pm on Thursday November 20, 2025, at the Historic Salisbury National Cemetery, 202 Government Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144.
