Estelle Guinn

Estelle Earnestine Woodlief Guinn passed away on Wednesday January 10, 2024, at the age of 84.

She was born on December 11, 1939, in Wake County to the late Lucy Columbia Pierce Woodlief and Ernest Woodlief.

Estelle retired from the VA Medical Center in 1995. She was also of the Presbyterian Faith. She was well known for her love of camping with her grandchildren, generosity, and cooking.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Guinn is preceded in death by her husband Larry D. Guinn; and her sons Billy Guinn and Michael Guinn.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Diane Brandt (Mark), Kathy Wensil (Keith), and Angela Guinn Corriher of the home (Salisbury); her sister Inez Kissel of Raleigh; her 16 grandchildren, and her 24 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday January 16, 2024, from 10:00-11:00 am at Woodleaf Baptist Church, 7790 Woodleaf Rd, Woodleaf, NC 27054. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am. Officiating the service will be Rev. Chris Williams. The burial will follow at Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Community Center Rd., Salisbury, NC 28144.
