Floyd “Ray” Crowell Jr., age 67, went home to meet his Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 3, 2024. Ray had been in seriously declining health for two months. He was living at Deal’s Care Inn, Mooresville prior to his death.
He was born in Salisbury, NC on September 14, 1956, to the late Margie Hall Crowell and Floyd Ray Crowell, Sr. Ray was educated in the Rowan County Schools.
Those left to cherish Ray’s memory are his sister Deborah “Debby” Wall (Thomas) of Denton; his daughter April Morris of Granite Quarry; his grandchildren Kayla Morris, Corbyn Bost (Spencer), Jack and Easton Morris; and two great granddaughters Salem and Eden.
Ray was a member of North Main Baptist Church. He loved God, his family, and his country.
Ray’s life will be celebrated at a graveside service on Thursday March 7, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery, 3015 Gardner St, Faith, NC 28041, with Rev Andy Tuttle officiating.
