Garin Drake Kluttz

Garin Drake Kluttz, 32, of Salisbury, NC passed away peacefully on June 8, 2023 surrounded by his family and friends.

Born January 3, 1991 in Salisbury, NC, he was the son of Angela Yount Chartrau and Gary Kluttz. 

Garin was a graduate of West Rowan High School, class of 2009. He owned and operated Kluttz Farms along with his brother, Logan Kluttz. He was a member of the FFA and continued to support future farmers through the FFA Alumni Association.

Garin was happiest when farming. He was most commonly found behind the wheel of a tractor or operating heavy machinery. He had a deep love for his family and friends who always knew they could rely on him no matter what the cause – he was only a phone call away. He was deep rooted within the farming community and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his grandmother, Shirley “Granny” Yount; grandparents, Jimmy and Jean Kluttz; mother, Angela Chartrau (Todd); father, Gary Kluttz (Becky); brothers, Logan Kluttz (Leighana) and Macon Kluttz; sister, Madeline Kluttz; nephew, Graham Kluttz; special aunt, Anne Lentz and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to thank Levine Cancer Center of Concord, NC and the Atrium Main Intensive Care team.

Visitation: 4:00-6:00 PM Monday, June 12, 2023 at Salem Lutheran Church, 5080 Sherrills Ford Rd, Salisbury, NC 28147.

Service: 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Salem Lutheran Church with Pastor Dawn Rister and Pastor Mike Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
