Glenda Sue Fitzgerald

Glenda Sue Fitzgerald, 75, of Salisbury passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at her residence.

Born in Forsyth County on July 10, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Doris Steelman Pendry and Ernest F. Pendry. She attended Providence Baptist Church in Salisbury.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roderick W. Fitzgerald; son, Shane Campbell of Black Mountain; sister, Kay Todd of Yadkinville.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Rondall Campbell (BJ) and Timothy Campbell of Concord; sisters, Barbara Felts (Charles) of Mocksville and Wanda Rogers (Bill) of Sorrento, FL; grandson, Tyler Campbell and two great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Ann Ellis for her kind and exceptional care of Glenda during her recent illness.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Haven Lutheran Church, 207 W Harrison St, Salisbury, NC 28144. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with Rev. Sy Ponds officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Old Wilkesboro Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144.
