Glenn Floyd Eagle

Glenn Floyd Eagle passed away at the VA Medical Center on May 18, 2024, at the age of 85.

He was born on June 10, 1938, in Rowan County to the late Carpenter L. Eagle and Joycie Eagle.  Glenn went on to be the owner of Eagle Plumbing and Repairs. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy.

In addition to his par ents, he is preceded in death by his wife Mary “Sue” Taylor Eagle; his son Jeffrey Eagle; his brothers Bill Eagle and C.L. Eagle Jr.; and his sisters Thelma Silliman and Nancy Watson.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons Duane Eagle and Timothy O. Eagle (and his wife Andrea), all of Salisbury; his seven grandchildren, Brandon Parker, Justin Parker, Lindsay Eagle Banko (Joe), Joshua Eagle, Danielle Eagle Frazier (Matt), Jordan Eagle, and Mallory Eagle; his 7 great-grandchildren, Madison Parker, Emma Parker, Kristin Parker, Katelyn Parker, Emerson eagle, Hattie Banko, and Max Banko.

A visitation will be held from 2:00-3:15 pm on Friday May 31, 2024, at the Union Lutheran Church Dutch Meeting Hall, 4770 Bringle Ferry Rd., Salisbury, NC 28146. The service will be at 3:30 pm at the Union Luther Church with Rev. Heidi Punt officiating. A burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors by the Lyerly Volunteer Honor Guard.

Memorials may be made to the Union Lutheran Church Building Repair Fund.
