Gregory Basinger Obituary

Gregory Scott Basinger, 59, of Kannapolis passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

Born in Rowan County on March 14, 1961, he was the son of the late Margie Louise Walter and Howard Wayne Basinger.

Gregory was a 1979 graduate of South Rowan High School and worked as a lead supervisor at Freightliner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Lohr Basinger.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Kent Basinger (Amber) of Concord; daughter, Kendall Basinger (Mason Hooks) of Kannapolis; sister, Sharon Grubb (Bobby) of Salisbury; grandchild, Hadley Hooks.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
