Helen Lois (Waller) Wells

Helen Lois Waller Wells passed away at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center on May 8, 2025, at the age of 87.

She was born on November 1, 1937, in Rowan County to the late Walter Lee Waller and Etta Snider Waller.

Helen enjoyed reading the bible, doing any kind of printed cross stitch or embroidery, bird watching, doing word searches, growing and repotting plants, reading Christian romance novels, and her favorite food above all was her peanut butter with a cold glass of chocolate Glucerna.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Douglas McArthur Wells and her baby Sybil Helene Williams.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Sonya Rose Wells (fiancé Donald Buelin) of Woodleaf; son Eddie Lee Williams (wife Jessica) of Aynor; grandchildren Selena Rose-Garcia Hilton (husband Travis) of Woodleaf, Hunter Lee Williams of Cleveland, and Katie Allison Williams of Cleveland; and great-grandchildren Teagan Rayne Hilton and Jasper Douglas Hilton of Woodleaf.

A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm on Wednesday May 14, 2025, at the Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Comm Center Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144. The service will be at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow.
