Henry Vance Kyles, Jr., 80, of Mocksville passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022 at Angels at Heart Assisted Living in China Grove.

Born in Rowan County on July 17, 1941, he was the son of the late Geneva Dagenhart Kyles and Henry Vance Kyles, Sr.

He loved to go turtle gravelin’, hunting, playing his keyboard and harmonica, listening to bluegrass music, and doing word search puzzles. He loved his wife and family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Tucker Kyles and brothers, Kenneth Kyles, Jimmie Kyles, and Frank Kyles.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Dennis Kyles (Kim) of Mocksville; daughter, Wendy Kyles (Ronnie) of Woodleaf; grandchildren, Ashley Kyles, Matt Kyles, and Chase Kyles; great-grandchildren, Adison, Athan, Campbell, and Colton.

The family would like to thank the staff of Angels at Heart Assisted Living and his friends, Charles and James.

A graveside service will be held at Rowan Memorial Park at a later date.
