Herman Junior Rabon

Herman Junior Rabon passed away on Friday June 7, 2024, at the age of 92.

Herman was a graduate of the Rowan County Schools and worked as a Mechanic for City Ford and the City Bus Garage, Maintenance at Goodman Lumber Co., and a Supply Room Manager at Cone Mills.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Pauline Gaskey Rabon (2/21/2011).

Left to cherish his memory are his sons Gary Max Rabon and Curtis Rabon of Salisbury; his daughters Patricia Beck (Gary) of Hamptonville and Diane Owens (Tom) of Lexington; his grandchildren Lisa St. Germain (Kelley), Melissa Hedrick, Bennie Ray Herbet Jr.; his great-grandchildren Jake, Justin, Aury St. Germain, Taylor Little, Kendal, Daniels, Trey Herbert and Gabriel Herbert.

A visitation will be held at 10:00-11:00 am on Monday June 10, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church, 2255 E Ridge Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144. The service will be at 11:00 am at the church, conducted by Rev. Dale Kinley. Burial will follow at Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Comm Center Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144.
