Jackie Jo (Gordon) Pietrowski

Jackie Jo Gordon Pietrowski of Salisbury passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

Jackie was born on August 8, 1953 in Salamanca NY to the late Eugene “Joe” Gordon and Beulah Remington Gordon. She graduated in 1971 from Randolph Central High School in Randolph NY and continued her education at Alfred State College in Alfred, NY, receiving an Associate degree as a Medical Lab Technician. In her working career Jackie served in many capacities and retired from the Salisbury VA Medical Center where she worked in Health Administration and Human Resources. After retirement, Jackie enjoyed sitting on her porch, reading a good book and attending gatherings with family and friends. She was of the Catholic faith.

Along with her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Gordon Goldin (Ken), infant brother, Gene-Bruce Gordon, niece, Robin Goldin Foster and nephews, Brett Goldin and Alex Gordon.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Joey Pietrowski (Kimber Benton) of Rockwell, NC; grandchildren, Eden Pietrowski, Silas Chavis, Jaxon Chavis and Serenity Parker; brother, Brian Gordon (Karen) of Stokesdale, NC and sister, Kristie Gordon Everhart (Mark) of Salisbury. Jackie is also survived by a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and her “furry” companion Cleo.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date.
