Jacob Nathan Steele

Jacob Nathan Steele passed away on Friday June 21, 2024, in McDowell County, West Virginia at the age of 28.

He was born on November 28, 1995, to Jody and Traci Steele.

Jacob was a 2014 graduate of West Rowan High School. He worked as a Lead Lineman for Utility Line Construction Services in Kannapolis, NC. He was a member of the South River Church, the Rowan- Iredell Volunteer Fire Department, and Proverbs 22:9 Mens Group.

He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents.

Left to cherish his memory are his sisters Claire (Peter) of Harmony and Sarah of Cleveland; his girlfriend Haleigh Patterson of Kannapolis; his grandparents Jones and Joyce Steele and Richard and Sue White all of Cleveland; as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins, and countless friends who loved him BIG.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the South River Church Fellowship Hall, 2880 South River Church Rd, Woodleaf, NC 27054. The funeral service will begin at 3:30 PM in the church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery with firefighter honors..
