Jacqueline "Jackie" (Burleson) Leonard

Jacqueline Burleson Leonard (Jackie) of Salisbury passed away Thursday May 6th, 2021 at her residence.

Jackie was born on January 28th, 1940 to Ruby Almond Burleson and Marvin Burleson. Jackie worked at Cartex Cotton Mill and was a homemaker. She loved shopping, watching her stories, and The Price Is Right. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother Roger Burleson and her sister Henrietta Burleson.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband David Lee Leonard; sisters, Carol McClain, Kay Bumgarner, and Jean Rescigno; sons Daniel Burleson of Salisbury, Jimmy Leonard of Salisbury, daughters Windy Leonard Dale of Salisbury , and Mandy Leonard of Statesville; Aunt Helen Almond; 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren as well and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday May 10th, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:00 at Rowan Memorial Park, graveside services to follow.
