James Douglas Kurfees

James Douglas Kurfees passed away at home on July 31, 2025, at the age of 53.

He was born on February 29, 1972, to Katrina Eagle and the late Perry Lee Kurfees.

James worked as an equipment operator for Shaver Wood Products.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his wife Tricia Kurfees and his niece Jessica Bostian.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sister Angela Endress (Dean); sister-in-law Tammy Robertson; nephews Robbie Endress (Kathleen) and Dylan McBride; and his nieces Emily Endress and Hailey McBride.

The family will be having visitation and memorial service at Kennedy Hall American Legion Post on 801 in Cleveland, North Carolina on Tuesday the 12th between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
