James Tennent Obituary

James “Mike” Tennent, 66, of Kannapolis passed away on Saturday November 20, 2021 at the Tucker Hospice House.

He was born in Cabarrus County on March 5, 1955, to the late Helen Shancle & James William Tennent.

Mike attended A.L. Brown High School and then went on to serve his country in the US Marine Corp. He was a technician in the HVAC business and loved to piddle with all types of appliances.

He is preceded in death by both parents and a daughter LaTosha Roxann Tennent.

Those left behind to cherish his memory wife Billie C. Tennent since March 2, 1991, son Jeremy Michael Tennent of Kannapolis, twin brother John M. Tennent (Robin) of Kannapolis, sisters Linda Hooks (Steve) of Kannapolis, Shelby Bostian of Kannapolis, Carol Thymes (Mike) of Concord, grandson- Chase Tennent.

A graveside service will be held at the Salisbury National Cemetery with military honors at a later date.
