James William Tutterow

James William Tutterow III (“Buddy”) passed away on March 12, 2025, at the age of 63.

He was born on March 18, 1961, in Rowan County to Sylvia Lester Tutterow of the home and the late James William Tutterow Jr. James worked as a substance abuse counselor and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his daughter Jasmine Tutterow.

Left to cherish his memory are his son James W. Tutterow IV (wife Maggie) of Winston-Salem; his sister Jenny Harrington of Linwood; and his grandson Braiden Coley.

A service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday March 17, 2025, at Brookhill Memorial Gardens, 8625 US-52, Rockwell, NC 28138, officiated by Rev. Dr. Dale Robertson. Friends may visit the family at the residence following the graveside service.

The family would like to thank Novant Medical Center Critical Care Unit for their outstanding care of Buddy.
