James "Jim" William Osborne

James “Jim” William Osborne, 67, of Lexington, passed away on Monday May 16, 2022. He was born in Rowan County to the late Paul Osborne and the late Rachel Clary Osborne on November 21. 1954.

He graduated from Boyden High School in 1973 and served in the US Army in Germany. Jim worked in welding at Litton Industies. He was involved in the Amvets Post 460, Salisbury Elks Lodge #699 and Rowan Co. Voiture Locale 115 Inc.

Preceded in death are both parents, brothers David Osborne, Sonny Osborne, grandson K. Joshua Morris.

Those left behind to cherish his memory is his wife since 1994 Mildred Ledford Osborne, step-son Tim Garrison, step-daughters Christa Nance (Ken), Kimberly Barton, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 11:30-12:30 Tuesday May 31, 2022 at Haven Lutheran Church Fellowship building 207 Harrison St. Salisbury, NC 28144.

Graveside service will follow at Salisbury National Cemetery 501 Statesville Blvd. Salisbury NC 28144 at 1:00 pm with military honors presented by Lyerly Joint Services Honor Guard and Chaplin of LJSHG officiating the service.
