She was born on May 23, 1961, in Tennessee to Donald Bruce Roe and Charlotte Sue Fagan Roe.

Janie is preceded in death by her father Donald.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Tony Amerman and Emma Peoples; sisters Susan Berry and Tiki Diamond; brothers Donald Roe, John Roe, and Jeffery Roe; and grandchildren Kaylee Amerman, Makenna Amerman, Kirsten Amerman, and Courtney Amerman.
