Jimmie Lee Lentz

Jimmie Lee Lentz, a lifelong resident of Rowan County, passed away December 16, 2024, at the age of 82.  Jim, the only child of Roy Lee and Ethel Morgan Lentz, was born February 26, 1942, at Rowan Hospital. Educated in the Rowan County School System, he was a graduate of Salisbury Business College. Jimmie worked from 1962 to 2002 in the shipping department for Cannon Mills Plant 1.  

Jim was preceded in death by his son, Keith Edward Lentz (Jun 11, 2000) and wife Suza Garris Lentz (April 19, 2006). 

The Lentz family joined New Hope Baptist Church in Salisbury in 1989, and they served as an integral part of the Sunday School, Youth Ministry, and Seasoned Saints.

A graveside service, conducted by Pastor Sam Mills, will be held 12:00 PM Thursday December 19, 2024, at West Lawn Memorial Park.
