Jimmy Stallings Obituary

Jimmy Wayne Stallings, 68, of Salisbury passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at his residence.

 

Born in Cabarrus County on January 6, 1953, he was the son of the late Irene Rinehart Stallings and Jeff Stallings.

 

Mr. Stallings owned The Sofa Store and More in Rockwell and was a member of Kannapolis Church of God.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother.

 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Yevonne King Stallings, whom he married on December 19, 1987; son, Adam J. Floyd (Lauren) of Whispering Pines; daughters, Wendy Gainey (Shawn) of Kannapolis and Emily Floyd of Norwood; sisters, Martha Kerley of Huntersville and Mary Frances Icard (Mike) of Valdese; grandchildren, Allison Christenbury (Tyler), Dylan Floyd, Keegan Jones, and Kortez Ingram; great-grandchildren, Scarlette, Landon, and Ryker.

 

Memorial Service: 3:00 PM Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Kannapolis Church of God 2211 W A St, Kannapolis, NC 28081 with Dr. Greg Sloop officiating.
