Joseph Keith Plunkett, III, 42, of Salisbury passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

Born in Bethpage, Long Island on October 25, 1978, he was the son of the late Rita Mary Tyrrell Plunkett and Joseph John Plunkett.

Joseph worked as a manager at Magic Mart in Salisbury. He loved hunting, fishing, and guns.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Riley Plunkett of Lexington; sisters, Rachel Lawson (Kevin) of Mooresville, Lynda Taffi of Salisbury, and Susan Fritz (John) of Farmingdale, NY; nieces and nephews, Stephen, Katrina, Caitlin, Troy, Gavin, Ashley and Ryan.
