Judy Dianne (Cranfield) Massey

Judy Dianne Cranfield Massey, 77, of Salisbury passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at her son’s residence.

Born in Rowan County on October 19, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Elizabeth Messick Cranfield and Robert Lee Cranfield.

Mrs. Massey worked as a healthcare provider with Easter Seals and was a member of East Corinth Baptist Church. She loved to fish.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Maurice Massey; daughter, Tammy Gillikin; brother, Carl Messick; sisters, Charlene Manning and Alice Kay Cranfield.

Left to cherish her memory are her companion, Randal Goodman, Sr. “Buck” of Richfield; sons, Randal Goodman, Jr. “J.R.” (Denise) of Richfield and Jeffrey Massey of Rowan County; daughters, Shelia Ketterman (Scott) of Bryson City, NC and Janie Hamsey (Phil) of Newport, NC; brother, David Lee Cranfield (Donna) of Woodleaf; sisters, Linda Fitch (Larry) of Mocksville and Patricia Smith (Buddy) of Salisbury; grandchildren, Christa, Carla, Clint, David, Candy, Sherri, Sandra, Stacey, Alyssa, and Gianella; 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Community Center Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144 with the Rev. Joel Hyatt and the Rev. Johnny Daniels officiating.
