Karen Gilbert Obituary

Karen Jean Gilbert, 67, of Salisbury after a period of declining health passed away on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born in Wilson County on May 27, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Wade White and the late Nettie Mae Rodgers White.

Jean enjoyed working word search puzzles, watching the Hallmark channel and her two fur babies, Potsie and Olive.

In addition to her parents Jean was preceded in death by brother; Thomas White of South Carolina and a sister; Sadie Moore of Wilson, NC.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter; Jessica Gilbert of Salisbury, son; Chad Bass and his wife Samantha of Rockwell, brother; Wayne White of Indiana, sisters, Judy Vogt of Fremont, NC, Trudy Loflin of Salisbury and Jackie Mullis of Salisbury, granddaughters; Kailey, Chelsey and Hadley, various nieces and nephews,
