Karen Marie (Bowen) Hamm

Karen Marie Bowen Hamm , Resident of Salisbury, NC and former resident of Freemansburg, PA, passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 60.

She was born on November 3, 1964, to the late Vincent Bowen and Gloria Newhart Bowen.

Karen was known to be very feisty and loving. She loved drama and entertainment. She liked to ruffle everyone’s feathers. Let’s not forget how much she loved her feather pillows! Her perogies were amazing, and she would often make enough to feed the entire town. She also really loved and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Vincent “Vincie” Bowen Jr. of Sandy Creek, NY and her sister Betty Jane Bowen of Bethlehem, PA.

Left to cherish her memory are her significant other Gary Neith; brothers Robert “Bobby” Bowen Sr. and Adam Bowen (partner Bethann); sisters Etta Bowen-Crotsley and Theresa “Terry” Bowen; Her sons Nevin Hamm Jr. (significant other Carrie Doncsecz) and Jimmylee Hamm Sr. (wife Lyndi Hamm); daughter Clara Hamm; grandchildren Justin, Jimmylee Jr., Julia, Jayce, and Nevin III.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what’s to be,
A resting place along the road,
