Kathryn (Eller) Martin

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Eller Martin of Salisbury, North Carolina, who passed away on September 14, 2022, at the age of 85.

She passed away of natural causes in her home surrounded by family. Ms. Martin was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Tabernacle where she served as a custodian for over 35 years. Before retirement she also served the members of her community by working at the VA hospital for 36 years. She enjoyed spending time with loved ones, putting together puzzles, playing solitare, bird watching, sweet treats, and always starting her day off with a fresh cup of coffee and her quiet time with God.

Ms. Martin was preceded in death by her parents Casey and Margaret Eller. She is survived by her two sisters, Nancy Jacobs and Phyllis Campbell; children, Ginnie Beaver and husband Melvin, Diane Hoffner, David Eury and wife Tina; grandchildren, Michael Hoffner, Lindsay McKnight and husband Drew, and Autumn Cline; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Hope Hoffner and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Community Center Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Steve Holshouser.
