Kathy Christine (Williams) Hill

Kathy Christine Williams Hill, 69, of Salisbury passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

Born in Rowan County on March 24, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Frances Juanita Cauble and Christopher Columbus Williams.

Kathy attended North Rowan High School and worked as a secretary of Physical Therapy for Novant Health for 23 years. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and going with the women’s group from church to the beach and the mountains. She loved her dogs Peanut, Harley, Moe, Snooki, and Betsy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wayne Hill, who passed away on September 5, 2012; daughter, Stacy Hill Gardner, who passed away on August 11, 2014; granddaughter, Courtney Leigh Trexler, who passed away on April 26, 2014; brothers, Bobby Lewis Williams and Ronald Chris Williams; sister, Sheila Diane Christie.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Christine Hill Trexler of Faith, NC; granddaughters, Victoria Rena Hill of Salisbury, NC and Kristyn Michaela Hill of Salisbury, NC; great-grandson, Zae’Dyn Alexander Scott.

Service: 1:30 PM Friday, September 10, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, 3760 Stokes Ferry Rd., Salisbury, NC 28146 with the Rev. Dr. Steve Holshouser officiating. Interment will follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
