Kerry Elizabeth Rothwell

Kerry Elizabeth Rothwell, of Salisbury went to her Heavenly home surrounded by her mother and family members on Friday January 30, 2021. She passed away at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center after several months of declining health. She was born June 7, 1972 to David A. Rothwell and Sallie Smith Rothwell. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by a brother William Smith and Grandmother Ivey Smith, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is survived by her mother Sallie Smith Peeler (Claude) of Salisbury, father David Rothwell of Manchester NH, brothers James A. Rothwell (Melissa) of New Bern NC, David R. Rothwell   (Kimberly) of Gold Hill NC, sister Kristy L. Morton (Melvin) of Salisbury NC, aunt Rachel Smith (Harold) of Salisbury NC, uncle James A. Smith (Shirley) of Salisbury NC and many nieces and nephews and step-sister Shelly Peeler. Kerry is also survived by a special cousin Joe Smith; they were best friends and pals since childhood. She was a very special person loved by all.

The family will have a memorial graveside service at Rowan Memorial Park on February 3, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gary Scoggins to officiate service. Due to COVID-19 and for your health and the health of others; the family is requesting that everyone attending the funeral wears a mask
