Kimberly Ann (Veitch) Fleming

Kimberly Ann Veitch Fleming, 58, of Salisbury passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Novant Health Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House.

Born in Meadville, PA on November 9, 1962, she was the daughter of Robert Veitch and the late Eleanor O’Brien.

Kim graduated from West Rowan High School in 1981 and received a Bachelor’s Degree from Penn State. She was a member of Unity Presbyterian Church where she was active in all church phases. She volunteered with Rowan Helping Ministries and helped with the Woodleaf Tomato Festival. Kim loved playing tennis, going to the beach, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Fleming.

Left to cherish her memory are her father, Robert Veitch (Sandy) of New Castle, PA; sons, Howard Reynolds of New Castle, PA and Jacob Fleming of Salisbury; daughter, Meghan Fleming of Cullowhee, NC; brothers, Doug Veitch (Ivey) of Woodleaf and David Veitch of Salisbury; sister, Cindy Martens (Michael) of Kannapolis.

Service: 2:00 PM Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Unity Presbyterian Church, 885 Woodleaf Barber Rd, Cleveland, NC 27013 with the Rev. Sue Moore and Mr. Lucas Safrit officiating. A visitation will follow at the church at 3:00 PM.
