Laura Lyerly Obituary

Laura Ruth Lyerly, 47, died on December 5, 2025 at her home in High Point, NC. Born
on November 16, 1978 in Salisbury, NC, she graduated from North Rowan High School. Later, Laura earned a Bachelors Degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and completed some post-graduate work at Penn State.

Laura was preceded in death by her parents James Brown Lyerly and Paige Fowler Lyerly and is survived by her sister, Sara Draper and husband Charles of Wake Forest and three nieces and nephews, Sophia, Olivia and Benjamin Draper of Wake Forest.

Throughout her life, Laura loved having a canine companion. Her most recent companions, Ruby (pictured) and Reno preceded her in death in 2024.
