Leonard Thomas "Lenny" Lancharic

Leonard Thomas "Lenny" Lancharic, aged 76, was called home to be with the Lord on October 27, 2023, from his residence in China Grove, North Carolina after suffering a prolonged illness.

Lenny was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 3, 1946, to Vincent and Emily. He served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. Lenny was a unique man with a great sense of humor who touched the lives of all that knew him. He married his wife Linda in Orlando, Florida in 1969, and had two children, Carrie Anne and Andrea. Lenny adored Linda and she took care of him until his last day.

Lenny was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Joseph and James, and his grandson Patrick. Lenny is survived by his wife Linda, daughters Carrie Anne and Andrea, grandchildren Desiree, Brianna, and Grey, great granddaughter Teagan, two sisters-in-law, Andrea and Brenda, brother-in-law and friend Danny, and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Royal Oaks Baptist Church at 904 Texas Street in Kannapolis, North Carolina, 28083 on November 5, 2023, at half past noon.

Lenny will be buried at the Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Boulevard, Salisbury, North Carolina, 28144 on November 7, 2023, at 10 o’clock in the morning.
