Lillian Ruth (Morgan) Gryder

Lillian Ruth Morgan Gryder passed away at the Rowan Medical Center on June 14, 2026, at the age of 94.

She was born on July 29, 1931, in Rowan County to the late Lillian Stiller Morgan and Gilbert Morgan. Lillian loved to read, spend time with her family, and go bird watching.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert Eugene Gryder; son Douglas Ray Gryder; and daughter Sandra Jean Gryder.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Patty Hinson of Salisbury and Diane Lefler (Johnny) of Rockwell; son Robert “Bob” Gryder (Karen) of Salisbury; grandsons Jesse Hinson of Detroit, MI and Aaron Sifford of Salisbury; granddaughters Danielle Stiltner (Danny) of Rockwell and Brittani Dreer (Dylan) of Jacksonville, FL; and great-grandson Brandon Sifford of Salisbury.

A service will be held at 11:00 on Friday June 19, 2026, at Brookhill Memorial Gardens, 8625 Hwy 52, Rockwell, NC 28138.
