Linda (Wortham) Rinehart

Linda Wortham Rinehart, 77, of Salisbury, passed away Sunday, September 25th, 2022 after a brave battle with cancer.

She was born in Rowan County on December 2nd, 1944 to the late William W Wortham and Mary Rogers Wortham. Before her illness she enjoyed going to the beach and on shopping trips. She was a very giving and loving person.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Harold Plummer; her second husband Joe B Chapman and her daughter Mary Katherine Plummer.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Ronnie Rinehart; daughter Jodi Chapman Cape and husband James Cape; daughter Deborah Plummer Tanner and husband Calvin Tanner; sister Gail Peeler and husband Vohn Peeler and sister Barbara Myrick and husband James Myrick. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 in the Carter Lobby at First United Methodist Church, 217 S Church St, Salisbury, NC 28144.
