Lucille Goodman Kluttz, 93, of Salisbury passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at her residence.
Born in Rowan County on February 13, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Lula Parks Goodman and Ted Goodman.
Mrs. Kluttz was educated in Rowan County Schools and worked at the North Carolina Finishing Plant and Norman’s Draperies. She was a member of The Arbor United Methodist Church. She loved to sew and quilt, for which she won numerous ribbons from the county fair.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arnold Lyerly Kluttz, who passed away on April 27, 2018; siblings, Lois Smith (Bill), James Edward “Cotton” Goodman (Geraldine), and Charles Goodman (Elaine).
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Winfred Kluttz (Tina) and David Kluttz; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 3:00-4:00 PM Saturday, July 17, 2021 at The Arbor United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 5545 Woodleaf Rd., Salisbury, NC 28147.
Service: 4:00 PM Saturday, July 17, 2021 at The Arbor United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jacqueline Tookey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
