Lucille (Whitaker) Wall

Lucille Whitaker Wall, 83, of Salisbury passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.

Born in Davie County on January 16, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Hazel Faye Wall Whitaker and John Henry Whitaker.

She worked at Rowan Manor and was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Wall, who passed away on July 17, 1988; sons, Tony Wall who passed away on March 28, 2010 and Roger Wall who passed away on December 13, 2018.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Billy Wall of Salisbury, Ronnie Wall (Crystal) of Salisbury, Marty Wall of Denton, and Jeff Wall (Lisa) of Salisbury; brothers, Martin Whitaker of Statesville and Mitchell Whitaker of Salisbury; sisters, Linda Basinger (Gary) of China Grove and Bessie Whitaker of Salisbury; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and 1 on the way.

Visitation: 1:00-2:00 PM Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Brookhill Memorial Gardens, 8625 US Hwy 52, Rockwell, NC 28138.

Graveside Service: 2:00 PM Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Brookhill Memorial Gardens with Pastor Sy Ponds officiating.

Memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church, 620 Andrews St., Salisbury, NC 28146.

The family requests that all attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing.
