Luther White Cranfield

Luther White Cranfield passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 94.

He was born on November 5, 1930, in Rowan County to the late Samuel White Cranfield and Mary Leonard.

Luther was a student at the Rowan County Schools. He later retired from the Rowan Cotton Mill. He loved to hunt and fish and was a member of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Juanita G. Cranfield (8-22-08); his brothers James Cranfield, Johnny Hinson, and Ralph Cranfield; and his sister Janie Taylor.

Left to cherish his memory is his son Richard “Rick” Cranfield of Salisbury; his granddaughter Jennifer Chambers of Lexington; his sister Mildred “Shorty” Burkhart of Lexington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will occur at 1:00-1:45 pm on Monday December 23, 2024, at the Rowan Memorial Park Chapel in the Pines, 4125 Franklin Comm Center Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144. A service will follow at 2:00 pm.
