Marjorie Chavis Whitlock

Marjorie M. Chavis Whitlock passed away on January 2nd, 2025 at The Laurels Nursing Home in Salisbury, North Carolina.

She was born January 31st, 1943 to the late Mildred and Charles Chavis.

Marjorie was retired and enjoyed playing bingo, dancing, working in her yard, and spending time with her friends.

Marjorie is preceded in death by her Mother, Mildred Chavis and Father, Charles Chavis.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons; Jimmy Fortson (Lisa Fortson), Dean Fortson (Drema Fortson). Grandsons; Brandon Fortson, and Walker Fortson. As well as a long time friend, Linda Cloer.

A private service will be held in Columbia, SC.
