Mary Lucille (Eidson) Long

Mary Lucille Long was a caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She passed peacefully at home in Cleveland Georgia on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. Mary was born on January 23, 1929, in Salisbury, NC. She was married to Charlie Lee Long for sixty seven years and six weeks. Mary was a member of Colburn Methodist Church in Salisbury, North Carolina. 

Mary is survived by her son Michael Wayne Long; Grandchildren, Amanda Lee Birdyshaw (Gregory Thomas Cross); great-grandchildren, Callee Cross, Marlee Littleton, Ethan Ankava; Sister, Peggy Barringer and Dorothy Goodman; Brother, Wayne (Barbra) Eidson; along with a multitude of cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Lee Long; 

Sisters, Betty Smith; Brothers-in-law, Jim Barringer, and Jean Goodman.  Along with a multitude of cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

Visitation: Sunday, April 25, 2021, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at  Calvary Baptist Tabernacle Church, 3760 Stokes Ferry Road, Salisbury, NC  28146.

Service:  Monday, April 26, 2021, at 3:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Tabernacle Church with the Rev. Dr. Steve Holshouser officiating.

Burial: Tuesday, April 27, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. at the Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC  28144
