Melissa Ann (Myers) McDaniel

Melissa Ann McDaniel, 52, of Cleveland NC entered her new home in Heaven on Thursday March 18, 2021 after a period of declining health. Death was unexpected.

She was born April 21, 1968 to Gary Myers and the late Phyllis Barrier. Melissa was a 1987 graduate of West Rowan High School. She was an active member in the choir at Cleveland First Baptist Church.

In addition to her father Gary (Ann) Myers, she is survived by her husband, Russell, whom she married June 1, 1991; son Phillip; brother Mike (Demaris) Myers; sisters Sheri (Billy) Draughn, Robbin (Kenneth) Whitley; mother-in-law Brenda Welch; father-in-law Eddie (Susie) McDaniel; step father-in-law Henry Barrier; brothers-in-law Tony (Deborah) McDaniel, Jason Welch, Sean Welch; sister-in-law Kristy Osborne; nephews Michael Whitley, Salem Osborne, Matt Whitley, Daniel Whitley, Fernando Thompson, Michael Myers; nieces Bree (Michael) Williams, Madisson Myers; and her grand“dog”ter Addie.

Visitation: 2:00-3:00 PM Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Cleveland First Baptist Church, 200 Maple St, Cleveland, NC 27013.

Service: 3:00 PM at Cleveland First Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Kestler Ruth. Melissa will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. Masks are encouraged.
