Norma (Turner) Brown

Norma Turner Brown passed away at the Kiser Hospice House on September 6, 2024, at the age of 73.

She was born on August 18, 1951, to John and Anna Turner. Norma was a graduate of West Rowan High School, class of 1970.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother John Turner and her sister Mary Jo Jones.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Larry Brown; her daughter Candice Brown (Beth Duncan); her sisters Shirley Yount, Betty Julian, Shelby Peterson, and Cathy Allen (Dale Allen); her brothers Bill Turner and Nick Turner (Nancy Turner); her niece who helped so much in her final days, Julia Spiller; as well as her many other nieces and nephews, several close friends, neighbors who were like family, and her beloved pet Sadie.

A service will be held Monday September 9, 2024, at Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Comm Center Rd, Salisbury, NC 28144. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 pm. A service will be held at 1:00 pm with a burial immediately following. Officiating will be Pastor James Messer.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask for donations to be made to the Glen Kiser Hospice House, 1229 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144.
