Patricia Ann (Pam) (Mullis) Allen

Patricia Ann Mullis Allen (Pam) of Salisbury passed away Thursday, January 14th, 2021 at her residence.  Pam was born February 24th, 1930 to Bonne Bivens Mullis and Ethel Gray Mullis. She was best described as “their little Shirley Temple”.

Pam graduated from Boyden High School.  She worked at the Salisbury Post as a copywriter and editor.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker. 

Pam was a life- long member of the Second Presbyterian Church in Salisbury.  She loved to cook, sculpt, paint, and shop.  She and her husband, Bill, raised Arabian horses on their farm.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Allen; Sisters, Susan Saleeby, Sandra (Sandy) Reed, and Betty Hightower; daughters, Amanda Allen and Patricia (Jami) Burleson, and son Alexander (Lex) Allen.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons Bart Allen of Salisbury, Chan Allen of Texas; sister Bonnie Dill of Salisbury; 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Monday January 18th, 2021 at Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Community Road, Salisbury, NC  28144.
