Patty Sue (Mahaley) Miller

Patty Sue Mahaley Miller, 84 of Salisbury passed away Friday, September 22, 2023, at Autumn Care in Salisbury, NC.

She was born on November 12, 1938, in Rowan County to the late Vance Mahaley and Elizabeth Poole Mahaley.

She was educated in Rowan County Schools.  She was a licensed Beautician.  Patty was the organist/pianist at Union Lutheran Church for 65 years and was dedicated to her craft and to her church.

In addition to her parents, Patty was proceeded in death by her husband of 64 years, Gilbert Wayne Miller, whom she married on Feb 8, 1959, and by a son, Andrew Wayne Miller.  Patty is survived by 2 sons, Patrick (Sharon), and Eric Miller (Allison), 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 1 brother, David Vance Mahaley (Sylvia) of Salisbury.

The family will greet friends & family at Union Lutheran Church 4770 Bringle Ferry Rd Salisbury, NC 28146 on Sunday, October 1, 2023, visitation 2:00-2:45 pm, and service at 3:00 pm.  The burial will be in the Union Lutheran Church cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Union Lutheran Church music fund.
