Peggy Lowrance Cress, age 88, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023, after an extended illness. She was a graduate of Mt. Ulla High School in 1953. She was known in this community and by all who loved her for her generous heart and nature. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and mamaw.

The community also knew her for her servant’s heart through serving as an LPN. She established and co-ran a Christian Book Store and Christian Heritage Academy with Mitchell in Mooresville. Later in life, her passions included crafting and delivering handmade cards to shut-ins, arranging flowers for others, and taking every opportunity to share her love for the Lord with others.
