Peggy Beaver Honeycutt Wilson, 84, of Salisbury passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 at her residence.
Born in Rowan County on May 5, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Carrie Webb and Ernest Jerome Beaver, Sr.
Peggy worked as a textile inspector for Cone Mills in Salisbury and as a caregiver for the elderly. She was Baptist by faith and was an avid bird watcher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth “Lib” Jackson, Thelma Goodwin, and Dorothy “Dot” Jacobs.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Alan Honeycutt and Tim Honeycutt, both of Salisbury; daughters, Cheryl Lippard of Salisbury, Carol O’Brien of Mooresville, and Sandy Meachem (Charles) of Salisbury; brother, Ernest Beaver, Jr. (June) of Salisbury; niece, Kay Adams of Salisbury; caregiver and friend, Joe Wilson; 16 grandchildren and 36 and counting great-grandchildren.
Graveside Service: 1:00 pm Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Rowan Memorial Park, 4125 Franklin Community Center Rd., Salisbury, NC 28144 with the Rev. Joe Thomas officiating.
