Petty Officer Philip Paul Brooks, Sr.

Petty Officer Philip Paul Brooks, Sr. 49, of Charlotte, NC passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.

Philip was born February 20, 1972 in Wilmington, NC, the son of Samuel Brooks and Carolyn Revis Brooks.

Philip was a 20 year veteran of the U.S. Navy. For 2 years he worked at Sonoco in Electrical Maintenance, and also Power Test Inc., for 2 years as an electrical tester.   He enjoyed bowling, Softball and coaching Kids on Strike bowling  league.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Michele Leigh Bartucca Brooks, whom he married on January 19, 1997. Sons; Terrence Kazmierczak and Philip Brooks Jr., daughter; Celeste Brooks. Mother; Carol Stallings, father; Samuel Brooks and 3 loving grandchildren.

Service: 11:00 AM Friday, May 28, 2021 graveside at the Salisbury National Cemetery 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury, NC  28144 with the Honor Guard Chaplain Rev. Ken Reynolds officiating.  Military Honors will be provided by the Lyerly Volunteer Joint Forces Honor Guard.
