Phillip Shane Campbell, 52, of Black Mountain, NC passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024.
Born in Davie County on January 20, 1972, he was the son of Glenda Sue Pendry Fitzgerald and the late Terry Rondal Campbell.
Phillip loved music, dogs, and growing plants. He enjoyed photography, especially nature scenes and flowers. He was always the life of the party and was a good listener and a giver.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Roderick Fitzgerald; paternal grandparents, Mary and James Campbell; maternal grandparents, Doris and Ernest Pendry; stepparents, Frank and Jeanie Lewis.
Left to cherish his memory are his friend, John Lewis; mother, Glenda Fitzgerald; brothers, James Rondal Campbell and Timothy Gene Campbell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation: 1:00-2:00 PM Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Providence Baptist Church, 620 Andrews St, Salisbury, NC 28144.
Service: 2:00 PM Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Sy Ponds officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Spring Baptist Church Cemetery, 509 Rock Springs Rd, Harmony, NC 28634.
After the burial, the family invites guests over to the house of Glenda Fitzgerald for fellowship at 208 Pine Tree Es Drive, Salisbury, NC 28144.
