Priscilla "Pat" (Hartley) Bassinger

Priscilla “Pat” H. Bassinger of Salisbury flew to Heaven in the arms of Jesus on Thursday, November 4, 2021.

She was born to the late Albert and Ada Hartley and was 77 years old.

She was a graduate of Boyden High School and worked at different jobs in her earlier years. She was a homemaker.

She loved the beach and loved being a mom to her beloved boys. She was very much into her garden and yard work, her great love.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy R. Bassinger, married for 57 years; her parents Albert and Ada Hartley; brother Gary Hartley and grandson Travis Kyle Bassinger.

She is survived by her sons Kelly Bassinger (Andrea) and Gregory Bassinger; grandson Chandler Bassinger; beloved sister Shirley Walton of Belmont, NC; in-laws, John and Joy Linebarger, Stanly and Vickie Bassinger, Ronnie and Carol Bassinger. She is also survived by close friends and many cousins who she loved dearly.

Graveside Service: 2:00 PM Saturday, November 6, 2021 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 5202 Mooresville Rd., Salisbury, NC 28147 with Pastor Janice Kelly and Pastor Tommy Thomas officiating.
