Randal Brown Goodman Sr.

Randal “Buck” Brown Goodman Sr. passed away at home on Wednesday August 14, 2024, at the age of 78.

He was born on August 29, 1945, in Rowan County to the late Velma Katherine Deal and Henry Brown Goodman.

Randal was a student at East Rowan High School. He worked as a Plumber and Electrician and was also a member of the East Corinth Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his companion Judy “Dianne” Cranfield Massey (3/26/2023); his brother Ricky Ray Goodman (2022); and his sister Katherine Jane Goodman Johnson (2015).

Left to cherish his memory is his son Randal Goodman Jr. “JR” (Denise) of Richfield, NC; his daughter Janie Lynn Hamsey (Phil) of Newport, NC; his brother Rodney Allen Goodman (Mitzi) of Richfield, NC; his sister Linda Goodman (Gwen); his sister-in-law Debbie Goodman (wife to his deceased brother Ricky); as well as 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
