Randall (Randy) Eugene Dean, 73, of Salisbury, NC passed away on October 18, 2024, at the Kannapolis Family Care Home in Concord, NC. He was born on July 23, 1951, in Rowan County to the late James Harry Lee Dean and Virgie Cline Dean. He had fought Parkinson’s Disease for 13 years and Lewy Body Dementia.
Randy was a 1969 graduate of West Rowan High School and attended Western Carolina University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving from 1970-1976. He was employed in construction, home improvements, and carpentry. Randy’s hobbies included reading, scuba diving, and photography.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a nephew, Matthew Ridenhour. Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Robin Ridenhour and brother-in-law Donald Ridenhour; nephew Justin Ridenhour, all of Salisbury; great nieces Madison Ridenhour and Brooklyn Ridenhour of Woodleaf; Cousins, Patsy and Jim Johnson were especially supportive with frequent visits; Numerous other beloved cousins with whom he grew up, also survive.
